Feedback needed SIS

Hello SIS,

I need your feedback please and keep in mind you don’t have to be in Buffalo NY or WNY area for the options below.

Question 1: how many of you would be interested in a prayer call from 12 – 1 EST each day where the SIS callers listen in as someone prays (in general) for everyone?

Question 2: how many of you are interested in a call from 12 – 1 EST where SIS can call in and discuss issues on your heart briefly) and have others prayer with you and provide inspiration/encouragement?

Question 3: how many of you know someone who would prefer receiving inspiration /encouragement via text as opposed to facebook posts?
**(Text messages would be limited characters like a scripture or quote or photo)**

Let me know your thoughts. You can put 1,2,3 or write another need via comment or inbox me.

Love,
SIS Sjunseeargn

Watch your mouth SIS

When we speak good things into our lives, God will bring good things into our lives. When we speak words of defeat, hopelessness, and despair, we invite corresponding events. Proverbs 18:21 puts it this way: “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” If you love life and you cherish the power of the tongue, then you can harness its power and enjoy the fruits of your speech.

Perhaps this is why King David cautioned us in Psalm 34:13 to “keep your tongue from evil …” It is so important that we guard our tongue from speaking words that might bring evil into our lives. I’ve heard a suggestion that can help us bring this awareness into our lives.

Before we speak, we need to THINK —
Is it Truthful?
Is itHelpful?
Is it Inspiring?
Is it Necessary?
Is itKind?

If we can’t answer “yes” to these questions, then we are better off keeping our mouths closed. On the other hand, if our words do meet our criteria, we must speak them abundantly.

The tongue has power. Speak responsibly!

Be encouraged SIS so you can be an inspiration to others.

No more fear, just faith.

Romans 12:2 NIV says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Friend, there is great untapped potential in you, but past failures have a way of lying to us and telling us we will never thrive, improve or go higher.

No matter what mistakes you have made; disappointments you have endured; or what odds have been stacked against you all your life, there is a new story about to emerge.

Before it can fully unfold, however, you have to believe something new, different and better about you.

See yourself through God’s eyes.

He calls you victorious, equipped, favored, blessed and chosen.

Be confident, courageous and faith-filled, because the Lord is with you.

Whatever you have allowed to intimidate you and cause you to be fearful, if you allow this word to permeate, it will transform your thinking.

Live so others can see Jesus in you—any time, any place.

Father, I commit my life to You. Show me how I can be used by You today through the circumstances of life. Use me to impact others with the Gospel. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
